Melbourne Food & Coffee Truck Fiesta This Weekend
Boy are we spoilt for choice in Melbourne.
This weekend, there’ll be a food truck spectacular the likes of which we have not seen since Food Trucks Unite over two months ago. The roster is set and alongside Melbourne’s staples (minus Taco Truck & Beatbox Kitchen) we’ve got a new player. Dreux & Ghisallo will serve up the perfect compliment to your street eating weekend with piping hot, freshly brewed, machine to mouth Melbourne coffee. That’s right, the mobile coffee bike will be pulled up next to your favourite street eats, just in case a bunch of food trucks hanging out wasn’t awesome enough already.
The roster is as follows:
Saturday 12 May: 11am – 3pm
- Dhaba Curry Truck serving silky smooth curries.
- Gumbo Kitchen with your favourite N’Orleans classics.
- Dreux & Ghisallo serving up the perfect coffee, the way you like it.
Sunday 13 May: 11am – 3pm
- Cornutopia serving up your favourite Mexican with flare.
- Dreux & Ghisallo for the second time, serving the same delicious coffee as they were on Saturday.
Following this weekends meet up at Barkly Square, we’re promised this new location will become a regular on the food truck roster. All very good news. So check out this weekends offerings, give Dreux & Ghisallo a bit of Facebook & Twitter lovin’ and we’re sure we’ll see more of them soon.
Hope you’re all well. We are. The food trucks are powering through as we head in to the cooler months, and honestly, what better way to warm you through than some super tasty street eating on a brisk winters evening. We know the coffee served up this weekend will warm a few through and so don’t be put off by a fleeting weather forecast, get yourself amongst it and enjoy what Melbourne’s street eating scene has to offer.
Love to hear how your weekend of street eating went, send us an update on Facebook or Twitter or even leave a comment below.
We’ll be updated on Saturday and Sunday with locations for this weekend and so until then, as always, keep on truckin’.
